Jig
Clover
I’ve
already shown how to make a
clover without a jig. You can also make one using either a
commercial jig or you could just add another nail to homemade jig.
If you’ve already made that jig and
don’t want to add a fourth nail, you could also just use the three
nails to make part of the clover and pull off the wire, flip it around,
place it back on the pegs, and finish the piece that way. To
make a simple clover shape using a jig, you need four pegs arranged in
the shape of a plus sign so the pegs are approximately ½" apart.
If
you’re using a commercial jig, stick the end of your wire into a hole
in the middle of your pegs. If you’re using your own jig, just hold
the end of the wire in the middle of the pegs. Now
wrap the wire counter clockwise around peg A (top center).
Continue
moving counter clockwise and wrap around the peg B (middle right).
Now
move down and around (counter clockwise) peg C (bottom center), and
continue to wrap around the peg D.
