The book starts by identifying and defining types of beads including seed beads, lampwork beads, druk beads, pressed glass beads, bugle beads and more.  Bead sizing, threads, cords, waxes, conditioners and needles are also discussed.  Wonderful information on findings and wirework.

This is not a bead pattern book, but an excellent general beading tutorial guide.  Bead techniques covered include off loom bead weaving, loom beading, bead stringing, bead embroidery, knitting and crocheting with beads and beaded macrame.  Topics are covered in depth.  The instructions are thorough and concise.
